What is the Scratchpad Accelerator?

At Scratchpad, we are shifting our focus from working with scalable, investment-oriented companies to work with everyone who has a business idea- regardless of the industry.

What type of companies do you accept?

We accept every type of company!  From opening a restaurant to building an app- we can help you.
Kauffman FastTrac® was launched by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and carries out Mr. K’s belief that everyone has a fundamental right to turn an idea into an economic reality, regardless of who you are or where you’re from, with zero barriers in the way.

Who is planning and running Scratchpad?

The Scratchpad Accelerator is run by Dr. Jason Harkins, an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship within the Maine Business School at the University of Maine and Lisa Liberatore, a serial entrepreneur.  Both have been working with entrepreneurs for over 10 years.

Where is Scratchpad located?

FastTrac is an online program so you can do it whenever it is convenient for you.  Our weekly in-person sessions occur within CoVort, a vibrant coworking community in the heart of downtown Bangor.

When does FastTrac start?

The first session starts on Thursday, Sep 13 and runs through Oct 11 and is from 11:30-1pm at CoVort.  The second session will run Thursday, September 18-November 15 from 6-7: 30 pm.

How do I sign up?

Send Lisa an email and we'll get you registered.
