Scratchpad Accelerator is a pilot run of a seed accelerator program being launched in the the Bangor, Maine area this fall.  This program will work with 3-4 high potential, high growth entrepreneurial teams to validate their customer base, value proposition and business model.  Participating entrepreneurs will work full time on their business with daily learning sessions, extensive mentor interactions, and a push to develop and test hypotheses as frequently as possible to make sure that the company is moving in the right direction.  We are working to build a high impact, high visibility program with a passionate team around a few of the very exciting new ventures in Maine!

 

We are looking to fill two part-time, temporary positions (20 hours/week) who can work a regular schedule (one working a morning shift and one working an afternoon/evening shift).  These positions are needed from August to early December.

 

We need people who are:

 

• Energetic, enthusiastic cheerleaders for entrepreneurs and their companies
   

• Interested in building up the entrepreneurship community in the state
   

• Ready and willing to leverage their personal and professional networks to help connect entrepreneurs to anyone and everyone who can help them build their business
   

• Problem solvers who are comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity

 

Our preference is to fill one position with someone who has prior event planning experience and the other with someone who has prior new product/service development & design experience.
